FIT provider agencies are introduced to Coaching as an adult style of interaction. Coaching is an evidence based approach to developing and supporting the confidence and competence of the person being coached. In Early Intervention, practice based coaching is used with providers and caregiver coaching is used with parents and caregivers. This webinar provides the basic concepts of coaching for all providers which will be built upon with subsequent trainings and support.


Professional Development Leadership Teams Webinar October 2018

FIT Provider agencies are introduced to how Professional Development (PD) Leadership Teams will be formed at each agency over the coming year, with support from the FIT Program and ECN staff. PD Leadership Teams will support learners (early intervention practitioners and Family Service Coordinators) to enhance their practices and competences through coaching, reflection and other professional development activities, that will enhance the training they receive through the FIT Program / ECN.
